As a Scientist III, you will be an essential member of our Corporate Data Science team, collaborating with data scientists, data engineers, business analysts, and program/product managers. You will report to a senior member of the data science team and work closely with experts throughout the company to develop tailored targeting strategies using machine learning techniques. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Applying your deep knowledge of machine learning to create novel targeting strategies and product recommendations.

  • Collaborating with non-technical staff across the organization to craft effective solutions.

  • Identifying, sanitizing, and combining data from various sources.

  • Building and maintaining automation pipelines.

  • Independently creating and deploying data science and machine learning solutions.

  • Embracing continuous learning and thriving in a dynamic environment.

To excel in this position, you should possess a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience of at least 3 years in data science, analytics, statistics, mathematics, or a related field. Alternatively, a graduate degree or equivalent experience of at least 1 year in the same fields is also considered acceptable. Moreover, the following qualifications are essential:

  • Deep understanding of the scientific process and its application in industry.

  • Working proficiency in industry-standard machine learning tools (e.g., sklearn, Keras, MLFlow) and deployment life cycle.

  • Strong command of statistical topics, including distributions, hypothesis testing, and experiment design.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in data storage and management solutions, such as Oracle, Postgres/Redshift, and S3, or equivalent experience.

  • Hands-on experience with distributed computational frameworks; experience with Spark is preferred.

  • Technical proficiency in Python and SQL; familiarity with R, C, C++, Java, or other languages is a plus.

  • Working knowledge of cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, etc.

  • Foundational understanding of sales and marketing operations, including key performance indicators.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $95,900.00–$143,825.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
