Job Title: Engineering Technician

Job Description

Test and troubleshoot electrical assemblies, including board population. Build medical device cartridges and kit components. Handle chemicals and maintain process equipment. Organize and maintain the floor area and supplies used during work performed. Maintain a safe work environment with respect to chemicals and equipment. Operate laboratory equipment.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Carlsbad, California.

Work Environment

Service organization specializing in end-to-end product development for medical devices and tests. The business operates in two parts: designing products and running clinical trials, and manufacturing cartridges used in medical tests. Work is divided as follows: 50% in a cleanroom assembly area with typical manufacturing equipment, inspection, and welding; 50% in a workshop area with laser cutters and 3D printers.
