Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a D365 Senior Project Manager to support our client in San Diego within the Appliances, Electrical, and Electronics Manufacturing Industry. This company provides specialized communication solutions across various sectors, including quick-service restaurants, broadcast production, military, aerospace, government, and public safety. As a D365 Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the end to end implementation from AX 2012 to D365, with a focus on Finance & Supply Chain Management and CE/CRM.

You will own the projects deliverables, budget, and resource allocation. You will collaborate with executive stakeholders, customers, partners, subcontractors, and the Sales team to ensure the successful implementation of Dynamics 365 across the business. This role involves customer interaction to understand business needs and participation in full life cycle implementations. This role requires working PST time zone. You will report directly to the Director of Business Systems/Applications.

Skills and Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget.

• Develop and manage project plans, including scope, schedule, and resource allocation.

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, operations, and external vendors, to ensure seamless integration and deployment.

• Conduct regular project status meetings, providing updates to stakeholders and addressing any issues or risks.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.

• Manage project documentation, including requirements, design specifications, test plans, and user manuals.

• Facilitate user training and support during and after the implementation phase.

• Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions as needed to achieve project goals.

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of project management experience, with a focus on D365 Finance and Supply Chain Management and CE/CRM projects.

• PMP certification required.

• Experience with at least 5-8 end-to-end implementations of AX 2012 D365.

• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).

• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

• Strong leadership and team management abilities.

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to travel for required client meetings, etc.
