What will you do?

  • Associates will calibrate, operate, maintain & assist in troubleshooting all production equipment associated within the department to prevent and/or correct breakdowns following strict product safety & quality standards.

  • Background in calibration of industrial, electrical, and computer systems.

  • Attend CAT Meetings, Department Team Meetings, and Turnover Meetings to keep informed of site issues.

  • Knowledge of & capable of performing special technical skill (basic electrical troubleshooting, basic PLC skills, for loop calibration and room certifications)

  • Calibrate all instrument and devices on site. Ensure calibration standards are well maintained and in proper operational status

  • Knowledge of or be willing and able to train in Computer Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)

  • Support high performance culture and continuous improvement programs through active participation in plant productivity programs

  • Comply and actively participate in all safety and environmental policies, procedures and programs.

Associates will operate, maintain, and calibrate calibration standards and associated devices or instruments on site. In addition, assist facilities in troubleshooting all production equipment associated within the department to prevent and/or correct mechanical & electrical breakdowns following strict product safety & quality standards.

How will you get here?


  • Qualified applicants will have a high school diploma or GED; Associate degree preferred.

  • Completion of an Instrumentation or Industrial Electronic (2 year) curriculum in a suitable technical institution or equivalent


  • Minimum 3 years of expert level experience in instrumentation and controls service.

  • Previous work experience with maintaining and troubleshooting computer aided manufacturing automation and related communication hardware / software.

  • Previous experience working alongside engineering staff and assisting in the design and implementation of automated control systems used for the manufacturing of pharmaceutical products and control of the associated support utilities.

  • Experience within the Metrology / Calibration trade in a GMP environment

  • Familiar with computer aided manufacturing automation and related communication hardware/ software.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Minimum 2-3 years related work experience

  • Able to read and interpret engineering drawings relevant to the trade.

  • Thorough knowledge of relay ladder logic, programmable controllers, and PID control theories and techniques.

  • Proficient in Metrology/ Calibration standards and practices.

  • Knowledge of cGMP regulations.
