Audio Software Engineering opportunity in Carlsbad, CA

Our team is seeking an Audio Software Tools Engineer in Carlsbad, CA. You will assist the audio algorithms team and develop tools to tune interfaces for processing components, simulation tools for microphone placement, tools for synthetic test vector framework, and implement test metrics.

Python, MATLAB applications, audio signal processing, audio simulation, modeling software, acoustics, Digital signal processing, hardware design, augmented reality, virtual reality

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

BS/MS Degree with 5+ years' experience

• Basic understanding of digital signal processing, signals, and systems

• Background designing acoustic experiences

• Solid understanding of acoustics, psychoacoustics, and transducers

• Proficient with Matlab

• Critical listening skills

• Effective communication skills

• Knowledge of digital/analog circuit design would also be helpful
