Aerotek Production Associate in Carlisle, Pennsylvania

Job Title: Production Associate

Job Description

Individuals will work with glass, ensuring the machine is locked, printing tags, and paying close attention to detail. Under the direction of the Wareroom Supervisor, this position is responsible for processing the continuous ribbon. This includes operating automatic packing equipment, stacking, overhead cranes, mobile equipment, and hand tools to process the ribbon into containers and handle zoning. Assisting other departments or plant personnel during emergencies may be required.

General Duties:

  • Work under the leadership and coaching of the Wareroom Supervisor, becoming an integral part of the wareroom team with cross-functional job responsibilities for flexibility, safety, productivity, and involvement.

  • Record production information, maintain good housekeeping, paint, assist in any emergency job, obtain necessary supplies, dispose of trash and cullet, and perform other assigned duties.

  • Always meet safety and housekeeping requirements as specified in plant and department manuals or procedures.

  • Utilize quality improvement process requirements in all job duties.

  • Respond to changes in product mix and line flows to assist other team members in their specific duties.

  • Provide relief for other team members during appropriate break times.

  • Respond as necessary to any job in an emergency.

  • Interpret and use specifications and run plans communicated through hard copy or electronic means.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Carlisle, Pennsylvania.

Work Environment

Shift: These are 12-hour rotating shifts. 7:15 AM - 7:30 PM AND 7:15 PM - 7:30 AM. Schedule is 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 1 day off, 3 nights on.

Pay: $21
