JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Penn State Dickinson Law’s Office of Admissions & Financial Aid plans to hire 2 to 3 members of the Dickinson Law Class of 2023 to work as Dickinson Law Admissions Representatives from August to mid-November (exact start/end dates and length of service are negotiable).

Job Duties

  • Admissions Representatives are responsible for representing Dickinson Law at a variety of recruiting events both virtually and in person including LSAC Forums, law and graduate school fairs, and private presentations for pre-law groups.

  • In addition, Admissions Representatives are expected to communicate with prospective candidates as requested via email/phone and complete various administrative tasks related to recruitment such as comparing travel costs, booking travel/preparing travel itineraries, and tracking travel expenses for reimbursement and reconciliation.

  • Admissions Representatives are paid an hourly rate plus all travel and meal per diem expenses in accordance with Penn State policy.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • As a condition of employment, the candidate will need to follow University Travel Guidelines. Please familiarize yourself with Penn State's Employee Domestic Travel Guidelines (https://virusinfo.psu.edu/travel-guidelines/#employeedomestictravel) .

  • Employment with the University for this job will require the operation of a motor vehicle as a part of the job duties. A valid US driver’s license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.

  • You do not need to maintain a residence in Carlisle during this time.

  • Former Law Lion Ambassadors and admissions office employees are strongly encouraged to apply, but we welcome applications from all recent graduates.
