Robert Half Accounts Payable Clerk in Captiva, Florida

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in Captiva, Florida. This role is vital to our team in the hotel industry, where you will be handling accounts payable tasks, maintaining accurate records, and working closely with department heads.

Responsibilities:

• Handle invoice processing and coding accurately.

• Process customer credit applications swiftly and efficiently.

• Collaborate with department heads for smooth operations.

• Utilize software tools such as Hopsoft and Powersword for various tasks (training will be provided).

• Maintain precise customer credit records.

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary.

• Utilize skills in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), Check Runs, Coding Invoices, Data Entry, Invoice Processing, Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, SAP for efficient operations.

• Resolve customer inquiries professionally and promptly.

• Keep track of customer applications and process them accordingly.

• Ensure all data entry is accurate and up-to-date. Requirements • Proficiency in account reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial records.

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) to manage and process payments effectively.

• Familiarity with check runs to maintain payment schedules and manage outgoing checks.

• Ability to code invoices for accurate record keeping and expense tracking.

• Data entry skills to update and maintain financial databases and spreadsheets.

• Experience in invoice processing for accurate and timely payments.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial reporting.

• Experience with Oracle to manage databases and automate financial tasks.

• Knowledge of QuickBooks for managing and organizing financial data.

• Familiarity with SAP for efficient financial data management and reporting.

• Experience in the hotel industry, understanding its unique financial needs and challenges.

• Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all financial tasks.

• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• Excellent communication skills to liaise with vendors and internal departments.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
