About the role

The role of Underwriter D&O is a dynamic and exiting position. Are you energized by generating opportunities for new business and renewal business with new or known clients in the major global company segment? By working across boundaries, engaging with large groups of stakeholders and participating in multi-discipline deals? Responsibilities

  • Developing an assigned portfolio of existing D&O accounts

  • Ensure D&O account retention and development through excellent service to clients and brokers, monitoring and renewal of accounts at optimal conditions, cross-selling with other Financial Lines products

  • Business development of new (international) clients

  • Analyzing risks, issuing quotes and underwriting the assigned risks in D&O product lines with a successful realization of the attributed budget target

  • Contribution to product innovation. Drafting of new policies and updating of existing forms in collaboration with the team

  • Monitor product results, share and develop ideas to increase productivity and profitability

  • Ensure the visibility of the department through broker & client presentations and training and frequent broker and client contact

  • Efficiently and timely handling of policy issuance and account management, including premium booking instructions, policy drafting and follow-up with the Servicing Teams

  • Adherence to compliance and underwriting guidelines and playing an exemplary role towards other team members.
