The Staff Accountant supports the Controller and Accounting Supervisor in carrying out the responsibilities of the Finance / Accounting Department.

In this role you will:

• Daily Cash balancing/reconciliation, including Ecommerce credit card receipts/application.

• Responsible for all aspects of Sales/Use/Franchise taxes and Real & Personal Property taxes.

• Manage all leases, capital and operational.

• Maintain monthly balance sheet account reconciliations and analysis, as assigned.

• Monthly journal entries, as assigned, including all recurring entries.

• Perform other accounting, financial, or administrative tasks as may be required.

What you bring to the table:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or a Bachelor’s degree in business with emphasis in accounting.

• Thorough understanding of generally accepted accounting principles.

• Working knowledge of accounting software applications and the ability to learn the use of the Company’s general ledger system.

• Highly skilled in dealing with financial and numeric data.

• Advanced knowledge with Microsoft Excel.

• Working knowledge of other Microsoft Office applications, including Word and PowerPoint.

• Effective oral and written communication skills.

• Good analytical skills and the ability to apply them to changing requirements.

• Strong work ethic and high moral and professional standards.

Work shift and hours:

• Full-time, hourly, non-exempt

• Monday - Friday all in office

• 8:00am - 5:00pm or 7:00am-4:00pm

Compensation Details:

• The expected pay range for this position is starting at $50,000-$60,000 annually, depending on experience.
