The Boeing Company is looking for a highly motivated cybersecurity professional to join our Enterprise Government Cybersecurity team as a Senior Cybersecurity Professional based in Cape Canaveral, FL .

You will rely on your cybersecurity and Information Assurance (IA) background to be a technical leader and support Enterprise activities and Boeing customers throughout multiple classified computing domains. The candidate is responsible for ensuring all Information System Security policies, standards, and directives are enforced to support assessment, authorization and continued operation of information systems processing classified information.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Perform security analysis of operational and development environments, threats, vulnerabilities, and internal interfaces to define and assess compliance with accepted industry and government standards

  • Lead and implement the Authorization and Assessment (A&A) processes under the Risk Managed Framework (RMF) for new and existing information systems

  • Facilitate development of Memorandums of Understanding (MOU) and Interconnection Security Agreements (ISA) and support Continuous Monitoring (CONMON)

  • Oversee configuration management of assigned systems; auditing systems to ensure security posture integrity

  • Conduct risk assessments and investigations, execute appropriate risk mitigation, and oversee incident response activities

  • Conduct periodic hardware/software inventory assessments

  • Interface with the appropriate government customers, suppliers, and company personnel to implement protective mechanisms and to ensure understanding of and compliance with cybersecurity requirements

This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (US Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Successfully completed a Tier 5 Investigation (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) by the federal government within the last 5 years or have been enrolled in a Continuous Evaluation program such that periodic updates are no longer required

  • 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity

  • Experience working in one or a combination of the following domains: NISP, SAP, and/or SCI

  • Currently hold certification in good standing to satisfy IAM Level III (CISSP, GSLC or CISM)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher

  • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity policies and implementation of Risk Management Framework (RMF): e.g. DAAPM, CNSSI 1253, ICD-503, JSIG, or NIST SP 800 series

  • Experience in assessing and documenting test or analysis data to show cybersecurity compliance

  • Experience in project management

  • Current CAPM (Certified Associate of Project Management) or PMP Certification

  • Active U.S. Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance

  • Exceptional verbal, written, interpersonal and presentation skills, customer relationship building skills, analytical skills and ability to lead/mentor teammates

  • Demonstrated experience leading audits conducted by external stakeholders

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience, 13 years' related work experience, etc.).
