CACI, Inc. is accepting applications for an Occupational Safety Specialist to support a contract for National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) activities.
More About the Role
Responsibilities of the Occupational Safety Specialist include:
Prepare corporate occupational safety and health policy statements and governance documentation, standard operating procedures, fact sheets, newsletter articles and other communications as need for government review and approval on current and future Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulatory actions that may affect the organization's mission.
Plan, coordinate and lead Environmental Safety Council (ESC) meetings.
Draft occupational safety and health program Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)
Prepare and publish occupational safety and health policy documentation
Collect and track occupational injury and illness information to identify possible trends and develop corrective action plans
Provide OSHA technical support to the government in the development and/or review of site-specific occupational safety and health compliance management plans pertaining to electrical safety, global harmonization, training requirements, asbestos management, lead abatement pursuant to occupational safety and health regulations and executive orders.
Provide technical occupational safety and health regulatory assistance and guidance to facilitate compliance with local, state, and federal regulatory agencies.
Conduct occupational safety inspections/audits/evaluations on pre-determine government schedules.
Prepare and present written and oral briefings at the direction of the government for review and approval to senior executive level government personnel on the status of occupational safety and health programs and potential liabilities.
Develop and conduct occupational safety and health training programs at the direction of the government on behalf of the Chief of Safety for the organization's program employees in the occupational safety and health areas.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications
Typically has a University Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) discipline or equivalent experience
5 years related work experience
Interfacing with active-duty military and civil service personnel
Must be a US Citizen
Must have a US Government TS/SCI CI Poly Security Clearance

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$74,600-$156,700
