Job Title: Welder/Fitter

Job Description

Welder/Fitter | 1st shift (MON-FRI: 5:30a-2:30p) | $22.75-$23.75/hr to start | Canton, OH

• Performing MIG welding/fitting/fabrication on Structural Steel or Stainless Steel.

• Following blueprints to perform fitting and fabrication of parts.

• Up to 1/2 inch welds.

• Grinding and prepping parts for welding

• Read a tape measure to cut parts to size

• Use an overhead crane daily

• Help with cleaning the shop during downtime

Hard Skills

• Welding and Fabrication on structural steel

• Read Blueprints

• Mig up to 1/2"

• Fitting

This is a fully on-site position in Canton, Ohio.

Work Environment

Welder/Fitter | 1st shift (MON-FRI: 5:30a-2:30p) | $22.75-$23.75/hr to start | Canton, OH

$1.75/hr shift differential on 3rd

• Currently working 10's so hours are 5:00am-3:00pm

First shift hours: 5:30am – 2:00pm; lunch 11:00-11:30am; currently working overtime during the week and Saturdays; so weekday end time is 3:00pm; Saturday hours are a little flexible but mandatory when posted.

• Must be open to working around 10 hours of overtime per week

Small shop environment, lots of tenured employees. Looking for someone to be open to doing various jobs and stay busy

Cold in the Winter and Warm in the Summer

Very roomy and organized facility - prioritize safety
