First Commonwealth Bank Indirect Loan Operations Specialist in Canton, Ohio
As a Consumer Loan Operations Specialist, your primary responsibility is to represent First Commonwealth Bank in a positive, professional, and personal manner while performing tasks necessary in being the key support role for preparing and coordinating loan documents within the government mandated time frame. Produces error free documentation and disclosures in a timely manner; communicates with underwriting and Sales Representatives on pending closing issues. Examines closed loan files for completeness, adheres to lending policy, resolves discrepancies, uploads loans to core system or applicable interface and organizes files. Essential Job Responsibilities__ 1. Uploads or funds all loans on the day received and communicates status to dealership. Acts as the Bank's first line of defense for fraud/errors in indirect loan documentation and ensuring the Bank's expected loan spreads are realized by: a. ensuring loan contract matches approved term and structure b. collateral verification c. accurate loan rate / reserve 2. Individual should be able to complete a minimum of 20 loan packages a day. 3. Communicates with Underwriting, Sales Representative and Dealership for resolution of closing issues. 4. Handles routine correspondence, whether by writing or telephoning a response or re-directing, matter to proper parties to expedite handling. 5. Performs appropriate follow-up on missing or erroneous items with the Dealerships so that a clean and error free file is presented to Document Imaging. 6. Validates and communicates all dealership banking information to other departments to ensure efficient flow of funding. 7. Completes semi-annual audits of all dealer files to ensure compliance with appropriate guidelines 8. Updates and maintains dealer file information to ensure accuracy. 9. Organizes funding files prior to delivery to the Document Imaging Group. 10. Prepares error free loan documentation for uploading funds loans. 11. Completes daily maintenance on assigned loan accounts. 12. Coordinates the inflow of the paper loan applications and transmittals in a timely manner. 13. Handles requests for assistance concerning loan documentation. 14. Serves as a liaison between the Dealer Representatives, Dealerships and the underwriting officers to assist in the resolution of closing or funding issues. 15. Maintains working knowledge of Lending Policy and Government Lending Regulations utilizing Regulatory University and Compliance seminars and workshops. 16. Examines the closing files for adherence to Bank Lending Policy and Lending Regulations. Bona Fide Occupational Qualifications_ 1. High School diploma or equivalent is required. Two (2) years of directly related experience within the Financial Services industry is preferred. 2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail are required. 3. Proficient reading, writing, and grammar skills, analytical and mathematical skills. Proficient computer skills and ability to learn company utilized systems is required.
