DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Position Title: Senior Product Designer (P4)
Role: As a Sr. Product Designer, you will champion a user-centric approach across Crown Castle's digital product landscape, with a focus on creating intuitive, research-driven experiences for web and mobile applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to advocate for design best practices, ensuring that requirements are translated into cohesive, accessible, and engaging user experiences to deliver essential data, geo-spatial insights, and logistical capabilities to our customers across multiple channels.
In addition to delivering designs, the Sr. Product Designer will also play a role in promoting design excellence across the Company which includes mentoring teammates, advancing our design practice, and fostering a culture of innovation that aligns with Crown Castle's commitment to digital transformation.
Responsibilities * Design user-friendly and visually engaging experiences across channels, guided by user insights. * Create detailed design deliverables, including wireframes, mockups, prototypes, specifications, and style guides for web and mobile applications. * Align design strategy with business goals, user needs, and brand guidelines to deliver cohesive experiences * Conduct user experience research (UXR) using various methods, including surveys, interviews, usability testing, and observational studies. * Present research findings, map user flows, and develop user personas to inform design decisions. * Identify user challenges and propose solutions grounded in research insights. * Engage and partner with product managers, developers, and stakeholders for alignment * Ensure designs adhere to accessibility standards (AA and AAA). * Collaborate with product teams and developers to refine and implement interfaces. * Work closely with business stakeholders to ensure design objectives align with business goals, integrating feedback effectively. * Lead meetings, design reviews, and presentations with stakeholders. * Promote best practices in interaction design, emphasizing consistency, usability, and inclusivity. * Contribute to maintaining and enhancing the design system for uniformity across all platforms. * Continuously refine designs based on user feedback and performance data.

Education/Certifications * Bachelor's degree in design, Human-Centered Design, Interaction Design, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Experience/Minimum Requirements * 8+ years of UX design experience, with a focus on digital products and services * Experience in user-centered design, conducting user research, defining problems, developing prototypes and collaborating on implementation. * Proven ability to conceptualize, design, and create high-quality user experiences for digital products. * Experience designing omnichannel and multichannel user experiences. * Strong knowledge of responsive and adaptive design principles for various screen sizes and environments. * Understand design systems, modern UI trends, and accessibility standards. * Usage of design, wireframing, and prototyping tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Miro, or similar tools. * Skilled in advocating for user research, design strategy, an usability across teams. * Proficient in Interaction Design, UI/UX Design, Design Thinking, Content Strategy, and Accessibility Design. * Experience working in agile development environments, with the ability to iterate quickly based on user feedback and evolving requirements. * Experience in building, maintaining, or contributing to design systems for consistency across products * Access company applications, systems or tools that access customer data, financial data, or personally identifiable information (PII). Working Conditions: This is a remote role with the expectation of occasional on-site/in-person collaboration with teammates and stakeholders for moments that matter and may require up to 10-15% travel.
The salary range offered for this position is $130,000 - $150,000 annually. A candidate's offer is determined by various factors including but not limited to, depth of experience, role-related knowledge and skills, relevant education or training, internal alignment, and work location. Depending on the position offered, the compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of a discretionary annual cash bonus or commissions, and equity incentives. Employees will also receive a minimum of 18 days of paid time off each year and 12 paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
