Overview: This is a fast-paced management position in one of Inovalon's most critical areas, BigData Analytics. The Senior Manager, Software Engineering requires strong technical capabilities plus an instinctive, problem-solving mentality and experience conceptualizing and creating out-of-the-box solutions. Working in an Agile environment with large datasets and advanced analytics, this position is engaged in continuous optimization and refactoring and promoting an upbeat and effective team environment within the fast-growing IT Healthcare Informatics industry. Duties and Responsibilities: Lead the design, development and deployment of Inovalon's Cloud-based BigData Analytics Platform in accordance with Inovalon's agile development methodology. Develop and maintain an expert level of knowledge regarding products and services of Inovalon to achieve product development and functionality requirements. Manage and coordinate on-shore and off-shore staff required for the achievement of Inovalon's technology initiatives, operations and functionality. Successfully drive implementation of technical solutions, ensuring that best practices for architecture, design and development are in place. Provide oversight of assigned technology team, adherence to development timelines and accountability to product designer technical specification needs. Implement a well-designed plan with clear, realistic objectives which deliver on customer commitments as set forth by the business development and product teams. Allocate team members and resources effectively, and act as a buffer between the team and distracting influences, removing impediments to the ability of the team to deliver each sprint's goal. Provide input to employee goals, reviews and ranking exercises and actively mentor engineers. Maintain high level of quality and performance in a massively parallel processing (MPP) architecture. Maintain compliance with Inovalon's policies, procedures and mission statement. Adhere to all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements as outlined within Inovalon's Operating Policies and Procedures in all ways and at all times with respect to any aspect of the data handled or services rendered in the undertaking of the position. Fulfill those responsibilities and/or duties that may be reasonably provided by Inovalon for the purpose of achieving operational and financial success of the Company. Job Requirements: 10+ years of experience in an IT development organization, with some experience in a management capacity. Must have experience operating in a lead role on a successful deployment of applications. Must have a solid understanding of BigData and MPP applicationdevelopment and recent relevant work experience. Must have detailed knowledge of key components of product design, code and process optimizations that enable significant improvements in performance, scalability, security, reliability and maintainability. Must be a methodical and pragmatic problem-solver who inspires co fidence and trust with internal staff and users. Must have a strong sense of teamwork, active listening skills and negotiation and influencing skills. Should have experience using TFS and leading agile development teams. Experience with health care clinical and claims data and the associated regulatory environment a plus. Experience withweb-based applications preferred. Experience managing offshore resources preferred. Education: BS degree in computer sciences, software design, engineering, information systems, related field or equivalent work experience. Physical Demands and Work Environment: Sedentary work (i.e., sitting for long periods of time). Frequently or constantly to lift, carry push, pull or otherwise move objects and repetitive motions. Subject to inside environmental conditions. Travel for this position will include less than 5% locally usually for training purposes.

The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity. At Inovalon, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate. Base Compensation Range $128,600---$170,000 USD
