Legrand has an exciting opportunity for aSenior Financial Planning & Analysis Managerto join theData Center Power & Control Division Starline Teamin Canonsburg, PA.

What Will You Do?

  • Assist in analyzing and reporting all business and financial results related to the global Starline businesses (financial reporting package and financial systems).

  • Work with business/functional leaders, as well as other financial team members, to understand and communicate drivers of financial performance.

  • Analyze cost center results with comparisons against budget, forecast and prior year.

  • Support month-end accounting closing process (journal entries, financial analysis) for functional areas of responsibility.

  • Lead the annual budget and periodic forecast processes for the Starline businesses.

  • Work with cost center owners to understand drivers of results and assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.

  • Ad hoc analysis and projects as required.

Qualifications

Required Skills

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance, MBA certification preferred.

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in financial or accounting roles, showing progressing advancement.

    Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

  • Excellent interpersonal, oral presentation and written communication skills; professional presence and behavior.

  • Ability to operate/work in a high growth & entrepreneurial environment.

  • Possess strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Office suite of software including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams.

  • Planful and BPC knowledge/experience preferred.

  • Ability to work in a team environment and leverage additional resources as needed.

  • Ability to prepare, analyze and interpret financial analyses/reports.

  • Must possess strong analytical skills and the ability to identify trends and establish proactive corrective actions.

  • Broad general product and business knowledge to adequately interpret operating results, studies, and analyses.

  • Ability to assess complex business situations and respond by communicating/explaining, to financial and non-financial managers alike, their implications as well as to evaluate the initiatives/options available.

  • Drives business performance and challenges status quo … continuous improvement mindset.

  • Strong people management skills with the ability to earn the respect and trust of peers, seniors and subordinates.

  • Ability to multi-task and demonstrate flexible and efficient time management and to appropriately prioritize workload based upon organization or department needs.

  • Demonstrated ability working with minimal supervision and exercising judgment within generally defined policies in developing and implementing strategies for results

  • Must possess high degree of professionalism and ability to handle highly sensitive, confidential information.

  • Be detail-oriented, have excellent follow-through and project management skills.

  • Manufacturing experience in a multi-site, multi-currency environment.

    Personal Qualities/Behaviors:

  • Primary environment: ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office environment.

  • The performance of this position may occasionally require exposure to the manufacturing areas where under certain areas require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses and mandatory hearing protection.

  • Minimal travel required to support business needs (<10%).

  • Regularly required to stand; walk and communicate with others.

  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time.
