The Opportunity

A Canberra based permanent role to assist in the development of project artefacts such as the project execution strategy, project management plan and stakeholder and communication management plan.

Plan, manage and coordinate effective stakeholder engagements including Integrated Project Management Team meetings, Fundamental Inputs to Capability working groups and other workshops, program reviews or industry engagements as required.

Compile project data in the support of developing project reports, briefs and presentations.

Assist in the preparation for reporting requirements in accordance with CASG project management policy and the Future Air Mobility Systems Program Office governance structure.

Assist the project with the transition of project controls and reporting functions to corporate tools and systems such as Predict!, Open Plan Professional and Project Performance Reporting Information Platform.

Required Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge

+ + 4+ years’ experience in Project Management or Support roles within CASG/ADF or Defence

  • Tertiary qualification in project management or engineering (desirable)

  • Experience managing large Defence contracts across acquisition (desirable)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience in relating project/program advice to various business areas

  • Have an active NV1 clearance, or the ability to obtain one

  • Must be an Australian citizen
