The Opportunity:

We have a unique opportunity for an experienced leader to join our Major Service Provider Team as the Program Director for the Maritime domain.

A key part of our leadership team in Australia, you will be responsible for our portfolio of maritime projects, including driving the strategy, business development and project delivery within your account.

An experienced Defence leader, you will be able to work constructively and productively with CASG to support successful project delivery, that supports KBR’s ZeroHarm ethos.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the strategy and business development process for Maritime Domain including early capture management.

  • Responsible and accountable for Account growth (new work and scope expansion) to meet the Account Plan.

  • Accountable for achieving and managing execution of Maritime Account Sales and target Revenue/JI.

  • Lead customer engagement across the Maritime Domain business of MSP.

  • Oversee, monitor and improve the performance of projects within the Account.

  • Manage all aspects of Account Execution including program/project performance, quality, budgets, schedule

  • Hold accountability for program financials and budgets

  • Undertake relationship management across the Account; including development of trusted relationships with key/major clients and stakeholders

  • Manage Account risks and issues and provide a problem solving approach to issue resolution

  • Ensure managers within the Account fulfil their responsibilities and accountabilities in accordance with the company’s management system.

    As the ideal candidate you will bring:

  • Tertiary qualification in project management, engineering, business management/administration or equivalent

  • Strong Maritime background

  • Competent in business development and project management within the Defence market sector

  • Comprehensive understanding of CASG

  • Strong understanding of NSSG

  • Demonstrated leadership and communication skills

  • Have a current NV1 (or above) and the ability to maintain a NV1 (or above) Defence Force Security Clearance

  • Position is based in Sydney. Candidates based in other locations are encouraged to apply however travel to Sydney would be required to meet with clients and staff
