Thompson Health Physical Therapist - Outpatient , per diem in Canandaigua, New York

Description

If you want to work in a cohesive interdisciplinary team where every member is respected for the talent they bring, choose Thompson Health! This is a general Physical Therapist position with focus on spine and neuro. Most clients are spine and gait/balance, while about 25% are neuro.

Job Objective:

  • Responsible for evaluation and treatment of individuals with Neurological and Spinal conditions

Key Responsibilities:·

  • Evaluate and treat in outpatient setting.

  • Documentation in accordance with state, federal, JCAHO and insurance guidelines as a per diem

  • Provide skilled outpatient Physical Therapy for Neurological and Spinal conditions including evaluation, developing and implementing treatment programs.

Requirements

  • Valid NYS licensure to practice Physical Therapy

  • Degree in Physical Therapy from CAPTE approved program, DPT preferred

  • Prior experience in outpatient care setting preferred Spine and Neuro experience preferred

  • NCS certifications a plus

  • Experience with EMR

  • Team player and self-motivated

  • Experience or interest in neurological patients desired.

Pay Range: $46.00-46.00

Starting Pay: $46.00
