Maintenance Planner - Production and Cellar Operations

Job Summary:

  • Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, standard office hours

  • Maintenance Planner determines the planning and scheduling needs as well as the costs for production maintenance activities. Also is responsible for reviewing actual labor expended versus estimated labor and material used for completed jobs.

    Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversees the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) maintenance/continuous improvement by inputting new equipment records and modifying equipment PM schedules; works with Reliability Maintenance to update the CMMS.

  • Obtains “work requests” and determines the job scope, materials, equipment, permits, craft, safety precautions, vendor/contractor support, and procedural steps would be necessary to complete the work in a timely and efficient manner. Determines cost and time estimates for planned work.

  • Organizes and plans tasks at a process level by leveraging technical knowledge and engaging with Technicians, Reliability partners, and Maintenance Supervision as necessary.

  • Writes detailed technical procedures/ job plans following good technical writing standards.

  • Creates new inventory requests and manages existing inventories; orders required items to satisfy upcoming jobs.

  • Maintains the equipment BOMs and Job Plan library to ensure ease of finding parts and procedures for the Technicians and Maintenance Supervision.

  • Communicates with other Planners and Team Leaders in Maintenance to ensure coordination of complex multi-skill field and shop jobs.

  • Facilitates the weekly Scheduling meeting by preparing a weekly forecast of all Maintenance jobs to be executed the following week and gaining alignment with Operations and Supply Chain partners.

    What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years of maintenance administration or technical maintenance experience with high-speed machinery reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR

  • High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 6 years of maintenance administration or technical maintenance experience with industrial machinery reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.

  • Required to climb stairs and ladders; comfortable working at heights.

  • Required to participate in 24-hour on-call shifts, swing and graveyard shifts.

  • Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

  • Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

Compensation:

  • Hiring Salary Range Posted: $70,015 - $104,975 / year

  • Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
