Robert Half is looking for an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join one of our clients in Canal Winchester, OH. The selected candidate will be joining a compact yet efficient accounting team, where they will be focusing on Accounts Receivable (AR) functions, data entry, and collections. This is a contract to hire position.

Responsibilities:

• Handle Accounts Receivable (AR) duties diligently, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.

• Engage in collection efforts, initiating contact with customers and pursuing outstanding payments.

• Perform data entry tasks, inputting relevant customer and financial information into the system.

• Exhibit a self-starter attitude, taking the initiative to identify and resolve issues without extensive supervision.

• Maintain a teachable mindset, open to learning and adapting to new processes or systems.

• Project approachability, fostering open communication with team members and customers.

  Requirements

• Candidate should hold a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

• Demonstrated experience as an Accounts Receivable Clerk or similar role in the Accounting field is required.

• Proficiency in using Accounts Receivable (AR) software is essential.

• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices, and collection regulations.

• Demonstrated ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records.

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail is necessary.

• Excellent data entry skills and familiarity with spreadsheets and accounting software.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.

• Proficiency in Office applications, particularly Excel.

• Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information with discretion.
