As an HR Business Partner at Level Access, you will be instrumental in supporting our employees and aligning HR initiatives with business objectives, proactively thinking about people and culture and how to harness that to drive business results. This position provides consultation, which includes the following areas of Talent Management: executive coaching, organizational design, organizational efficiency, talent review and succession planning, performance management, compensation, employee retention, manager coaching and employee relations. This role also requires a deep understanding of Canadian employment laws, regulations, and cultural dynamics to effectively advocate for our Canadian workforce. This position is ideal for a candidate looking for an opportunity to work in a fast paced, evolving team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partnering with business leaders and managers to develop and deploy strategic planning objectives to build a dynamic organization that delivers significant and sustainable growth.

  • Proactively address employee relations matters, ensuring compliance with Canadian labor laws and Level Access policies.

  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to develop and execute recruitment strategies that attract top talent to our team.

  • Facilitate performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development planning for employees.

  • Identify training needs and partner with Learning and Development to deliver programs that enhance the skills and capabilities of our workforce.

  • Serve as a resource for Canadian employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs, providing guidance and support as needed.

  • Drive employee engagement and retention initiatives, leveraging insights to foster a positive and inclusive work environment.

  • Collaborate with the Engagement/Internal Communications team to ensure effective communication and alignment with employees.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certification preferred.

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in HR, with specific experience supporting employees in Canada.

  • Thorough understanding of Canadian employment laws, regulations, and best practices.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively navigate cultural differences and engage with diverse teams.

  • Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex employee relations issues.

  • Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to prioritize and execute multiple initiatives simultaneously.

  • Passion for promoting a positive employee experience and contributing to a culture of inclusivity and excellence.
