Family law firm in the San Francisc Bay Area has an immediate opening for a Law Clerk! This Law Clerk will support Associates with family law matters. As a Law Clerk with this firm, you will be responsible for conducting extensive legal research, drafting memos, and preparing legal documents. If you're looking for mentorship in the family law field, this is the position for you! This position is part-time, about 20 hours per week with a flexible schedule, and requires on-site work in Campbell, CA. The ideal candidate will be in their third year of law school or recently graduated law school and have an interest in the family law field. Those who pass the CA Bar may be considered for an Associate opportunity with the firm.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive legal research on various topics related to family law

• Draft and revise legal documents and memos as required

• Assist in the preparation of documents for family law cases

• Support the legal team in managing and organizing legal files

• Collaborate with partners on various legal projects

• Monitor legal developments within the field of family law

• Ensure all legal procedures are followed in compliance with local court rules

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Must be enrolled in or recently graduated from law school, the ideal candidate will be a 3L

• Familiarity or interest in family law is essential

• Experience with legal research and writing required

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Ability to work on-site in Campbell, CA is required
