Description

Established law firm in the San Francisco Bay Area has an immediate opening for an Associate Attorney! This Associate will join a team of attorneys focusing on family law matters for high-net worth clients. As an Associate Attorney with this firm, you'll be involved through all phases of the litigation lifecycle including law and motion, discovery, depositions, and trial. This position requires hybrid on-site work in Campbell, CA about 2-3x per week. The ideal candidate will hold an active CA Bar license and have 3-10+ years of experience as a practicing attorney, including experience in family law.

Responsibilities:

• Handle family law cases through all phases of litigation

• Conduct comprehensive legal research to support case preparation and trial strategy

• Draft motions and other legal documents to facilitate case progress

• Prepare for trial by managing discovery, examining evidence, and strategizing the case

• Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in all client interactions

• Collaborate with partners, associates, and paralegals to ensure smooth case progression

• Participate in staff meetings and on-site work for at least two-three days a week

• Provide legal counsel to high asset and high net worth clients

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Must be active and in good standing with the California State Bar

• Requires a minimum of 2 years of experience as a practicing attorney in litigation

• Prior experience in family law is required

• Excellent negotiation and communication skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• High level of professional ethics and integrity

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
