ManTech Implementation Manager in Camp Springs, Maryland

Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Implementation Manager in South Burlington, VT, Camp Springs, MD, or in a location to be determined upon offer acceptance.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Track progress of all assigned projects, utilizing PM best practices in reporting and relaying information back to implementation teams.

  • Host weekly stakeholder meeting that includes implementation teams providing updates to all pertinent stakeholders.

  • Host kick off calls when new projects have been assigned.

  • Track participation to document all meeting attendance.

  • Provide written notice of schedule outages that must be communicated at least two weeks in advance. More critical and large office locations require additional attention to detail more communication and lead time may be required.

  • Follow ITIL framework throughout the lifecycle of work to ensure all areas of ITIL are recognized, addressed, and delivered

  • Assist with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information

  • Provide Client Relationship Management (CRM) for various stakeholders within the federal agency

  • Support project Management activities in alignment with the Agile Scrum methodology.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Seven (7) or more years of experience in project and program management including:

  • At least five (5) years of experience leading and managing Information Technology (IT) projects and programs.

  • PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification.

  • Proven experience with managing using Dev Ops concepts.

  • Exceptional technical aptitude and effective written and verbal communications skills.

  • Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, collaborative environment.

  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills required.

  • Must have strong critical thinking, complex problem solving, appropriate judgment, and decision-making skills

  • Experience with MS Office Suite including MS Project, Word and Excel.

  • Experience using JIRA and Confluence in an Agile Scrum methodology

  • Familiarity with ITIL, DevSecOps and Agile concepts

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiar with tools including: ServiceNow, GitHub

  • Experience with DevSecOps and Agile concepts

  • Experience supporting Government contracts

Clearance Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain Public Trust and complete DHS Security Clearance prior to start date.

  • Ability to obtain DHS EOD suitability

  • Current DHS EOD highly preferred

Physical Requirements:

  • Office work, typically sedentary with some movement around the office.
