Clearance:Active DoD Secret Clearance
Work Schedule:Fulltime, Onsite Monday-Friday, with <10% travel.
Role Overview:
The Tactical Datalink (TDL) Analyst will conduct test Planning, Preparation, Execution, Analysis, and Reporting (PPEAR) for test events in a lab environment, and provide technical input as required. They will configure, connect, and prepare data collection devices and test tools to support test execution, and be responsible for running these systems. The TDL Analyst will capture, log, and analyze all data collected during the test events and identify any data loss or data issues during the event, especially pertaining to MIL-STD compliance. They are responsible for conducting root cause analysis and capturing all test issues.

Specific Skillset
Plan, Prepare, and Execute Test Events:This involves creating a roadmap for testing, setting up the environment, and running the tests according to the plan. (PPEAR - Planning, Preparation, Execution, Analysis, and Reporting)
Configure and Prepare Data Collection Devices:The analyst gets the necessary equipment ready to capture data during the tests.
Connect Test Tools:They ensure all the systems involved in the testing process are communicating properly.
Run Test Systems:The analyst operates the data collection and testing software during the events.
Capture and Log Test Data:They record all the information gathered during the tests.
Analyze Test Data:The analyst examines the captured data to identify any issues or areas that require further investigation.
Identify Data Loss or Issues:They pinpoint any problems with the collected data, such as missing information or data quality concerns.
Ensure MIL-STD Compliance:The analyst verifies that the data transmission adheres to the Military Standard (MIL-STD) set for communication protocols.
Conduct Root Cause Analysis:If issues are found, they delve deeper to determine the underlying reasons for the problems.
Capture Test Issues:The analyst documents all the problems encountered during testing for future reference and resolution.
Requirements
Education & Certifications
JT-102 graduate
Highschool Diploma or GED Equivalent
Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering or a related field is preferred.
Experience Requirements
4+ years of experience in testing, preferably on Command and Control systems, conducting Tactical Data Link (TDL) data analysis based on TDLs standards, MIL-STD compliance.
6+ years experience on TDL systems.?
