Delta Dental of Pennsylvania Senior Quality Assurance Analyst in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania

The Senior Quality Assurance Analyst will have a solid knowledge of quality assurance and database concepts to develop database queries and perform analysis on results. This job will evaluate and coordinate quality projects resulting from in-depth data analysis and identify change initiatives to execute progressive process improvements, while continuing to adhere to company policies, procedures, best practices, standards, and deadlines. Additionally, it will ensure all Quality Assurance work products are documented, stored, and managed accordingly to department and company standards. This role is a part of the Quality Assurance Team and identifies patterns, common errors, and system issues to assist the processing department in reducing risk and improving effectiveness and works with line management, as a service partner, to continuously improve quality.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Performs well-founded, thorough, in-depth research root cause analysis of operational error results, draws accurate conclusions, and develops and generates adhoc reports as needed to promote error reduction and ascertain where specific process improvements can be made. Compiles advanced monthly, quarterly, and annual trending charts regarding non-conformance of products or processes, production quality, root cause analysis, and quality trends that are forwarded to appropriate stakeholders to provide operational and division area feedback. Evaluates, coordinates, and maintains quality project plan activities, determines project delivery schedules, and identifies change initiatives as needed during the project delivery cycle for successful execution. Shares status updates to Quality leadership by implementing, gathering, and reporting on team and project based metrics. Conducts and responds to audit investigations in complying with internal departments and external agencies. Continually reviews and approves the training documentation to ensure effectiveness, relevancy, consistency, and accuracy; Supports the orientation, training, cross-training, and refresher training of new subordinates and existing staff, familiarizing them with job responsibilities and process changes within the area to enhance team performance. Reviews and approves the development and updates of the Quality Management Desk Level Procedures and Quality Policies and Procedures. Performs Re-reviews on a monthly basis of the Specialist and Analyst's work to provide Quality performance feedback. Supports the Quality Assurance Leadership regularly and assists the Quality Assurance Analyst as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience enhancing outcomes through process improvement, root cause analysis, and workflow optimization Experience creating visual representations of data using Excel Experience with quality management systems (QMS), including documenting processes, procedures, and responsibilities for achieving quality policies and objectives Organizational and planning skills with the ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple concurrent priorities and meet deadlines Ability to recognize patterns of errors and formulate recommendations for policy or procedural improvement Ability to exercise discretion and sound judgment while interpreting policies and operating practice Ability to express ideas and thoughts clearly during presentations Ability to develop effective interpersonal relationships with cross-functional teams Ability to manage time, through planning, priority setting, and project management skills, with demonstrated ability in managing multiple projects concurrently Ability to break down complex problems into pieces that can be solved with data, analysis, assumptions, and judgment Certifications in ASQ ISO 9001, NCQA, or Lean Six Sigma (Preferred, Not Required) Experience with relational databases, such as SQL (Preferred, Not Required) Proficiency with Power BI, Power Pivot and Power Query (Prefe red, Not Required) Base Pay Information

The national base pay range at the end is a good-faith estimate of what Delta Dental may pay for new hires. Actual pay may vary based on Delta Dental's assessment of the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, certifications and ability to meet required minimum job qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include prevailing wages in the work location and internal equity. $55,000 - $116,900
