In this role, the Associate will manage commercialization projects (new item innovation, quality improves, cost-saving initiatives) as leader of the cross-functional team, identify Retail-owned items to introduce in foodservice, interpret/communicate business results and perform ad-hoc brand analyses. Primary Responsibilities Business Analysis: Conduct data analysis of business results and recommend appropriate course of action. Monitor KPIs and provide in depth analysis by product line, SKU, sales region and financial impact to determine opportunities for growth, in line with portfolio role. Provide relevant reports, gather key competitive intelligence, distill key learnings, develop recommendations, and report findings to team. Integrated Business Planning: Lead development of brand inputs to monthly Integrated Business Planning process; own volume forecasting. Partner with cross functional team members to develop business recommendations. Innovation/Commercialization: Lead initiatives end-to-end (from concepting to in-market execution) to launch new products and product improvements within Stage Gate process. Lead cross functional teams to deliver projects on time and on-budget. Communicate project status, issues, and opportunities to marketing and NAFS leadership. Responsible for necessary paperwork and tracking within project management system to support business needs. Job Complexity This position requires the ability to lead cross-functional teams and work with external agency teams. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary to keep team members and leadership apprised of and engaged in team's initiatives. Ability to foster relationships with Retail marketing team and influence decision making is paramount to success as most of the Beverage, Sauces & Salsa and Entree portfolio is controlled by Retail. The position also requires the management of several NAFS portfolio-wide initiatives and the ability to successfully advance multiple priorities at once, driving strong execution across all projects. The ability to engage and motivate team members around a common objective, which may require significant effort on their part, will be crucial to completing these portfolio-wide, cross-functional initiatives. Minimum Requirements * Minimum education: Bachelors degree required; MBA desired * Years of relevant experience: Minimum 1 year CPG Brand Marketing Experience IF candidate has MBA. Minimum 2 years CPG Brand Marketing Experience if highest education is Bachelor's Degree. Foodservice experience and/or brand management MBA internship are strong pluses.
