Job Title: 2nd Shift Ladder Assembly

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team for the 2nd Shift Ladder Assembly. This entry-level position is ideal for someone with experience in general labor, carpentry, or manufacturing. The role involves assembling ladders using basic hand tools and requires the use of steel-toe boots for safety.

Responsibilities

  • Paint Preppers: Painting, cleaning, hanging, and maneuvering raw materials in the shop. No prior paint experience is required as training will be provided.

  • Deburr Associates: Using hand tools to deburr machined parts. General labor experience is sufficient for this role.

  • Ladder Assemblers: Assembling ladders using basic hand tools. Entry-level carpentry skills are necessary, and steel-toe boots must be worn.

Essential Skills

  • Experience with hand tools and power tools

  • Basic woodworking and carpentry skills

  • Familiarity with assembly processes

  • General mechanical knowledge

  • Basic math skills

  • Strong work ethic and team player attitude

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a machine shop setting is desired

  • Experience working in a high-volume production setting

Work Environment

This is a manufacturing environment that can be noisy at times. The dress code is casual, allowing jeans and t-shirts. The 1st shift operates from 5:45 AM to 2:00 PM for Paint Shop and 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM for Ladder Assemblers. The 2nd shift runs from 2:00 PM to 10:15 PM, Monday through Friday. Steel-toe boots are required for ladder assembly positions.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $17.00/hr.
