CDL Delivery Driver(Hog Hauler) JOB SUMMARY: TDM Farmsis seeking a Class A CDL Driverthat has experience with handling market hogs or feeder pigsto join the team in our Transportation Department inCamden, IN. TheCDL Driverwill follow all company safety and animal welfare procedures while loading, hauling and delivering animals within Indiana.This position would allow you to be home in the evenings.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as business conditions change.
- Driver will make trips to our local Indiana farms to pick up anddeliver market hogs to packing plants
- Driver will make trips to Ohio and Kentucky to pick up and deliver market hogs to packing plants
- Follow required and recommended safety and animal welfare procedures while loading, hauling and unloading animals
- Comply with al DOT rules and regulations
- Follow the law and company protocols regarding vehicle upkeep and operation.
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED: The IDEAL CANDIDATE will have the following experience/educational background:
- Class A CDL
- Good Driving Record
- Previous experience with handling market hogs or feeder pigs preferred
