Major Duties
ATS Industrial Automation Cambridge is looking for a Contractor Administrator who will manage the contractor process and help lead Functional Managers through hiring contractors and drive continuous improvement of the contractor life cycle at ATS. The Contractor Administrator will thrive in a fast-paced work environment and take initiative in completing tasks. This position is an ideal opportunity for an organized and driven administration professional who will take relentless ownership of the role and who has the desire to make significant contributions to the growth of ATS Industrial Automation team.
Specific Responsibilities
Lead for Administrative set up of new Contractor for ATS Industrial Automation
Manage the workflow and execution of all confidential documentation required for Contractor set up
Liaison with ATS HR, Functional Managers and Vendors to ensure contractor documentation is executed with minimal errors
Ensure renewals of Contractor documentation including Statement of Work (SOW), Purchase Requisitions (PR) and contractor folders are up to date
Liaison between internal customers/divisions regarding third party training and Contractor Suppliers
Onboarding of new Contractors, Coops and Full-time employees as requested
Develop and support open communication throughout all Cambridge departments & other North American locations as needed
Complete time & attendance corrections for contractors as requested
Proactively Manage contractor amendments to extend term when needed
Participate in continuous improvement opportunities to streamline and improve service processes
Reporting for Leadership as required
Maintain documentation within our BQMS system as needed
Manage, update, and track contractor information in the IA Contractor Tracker
Maintain electronic data filing systems, ensuring that data is organized, and safely stored and extraneous files have been removed
Ensure that all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the ATS Code of Business Conduct
Adhere to all health and safety rules and procedures
Other Administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Business Administration related discipline or equivalent experience.
Experience
Minimum 5-10 years’ experience in business administration
Strong skills in Office 365 Word, Excel, Planner and PowerPoint and other live documents
Experience driving process continuous improvement
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Excellent communication skills are an asset – seeking to understand through active listening is essential
Ability to work collaboratively with a team but effectively work independently
Experience managing multiple tasks and the ability to prioritize work effectively
Health and Safety

Ensure that the required protective equipment is used for the assigned tasks
Attend all required health, safety, and environmental training
Report any accidents/incidents to supervisor
Assist in investigating accidents/incidents
Refrain from engaging in any prank, contest, feat of strength, unnecessary running, or rough and boisterous conduct
