    Job Description

PROGRAM LEAD, RAISE (RESPONSIBLE AI FOR SOCIAL EMPOWERMENT AND EDUCATION) GLOBAL ALLIANCES, Media Lab, to provide strategic vision, oversight, and execution for activities of the MIT RAISE Initiative (https://raise.mit.edu/) . This will involve collaborating with organizations who have signed the Day of AI participation agreement to bring Day of AI at scale to their region; leading all operations and providing input and support into the work of MIT RAISE and its overseas projects; recruiting, helping to select, and managing all international Day of AI collaborations (e.g., maintaining relationships, helping with fundraising and grant writing, facilitating collaboration, and monitoring progress and impact); ensuring the academic, operational, and financial integrity of all programs/projects delivered by MIT RAISE, Day of AI with its collaborating organizations. Job Requirements

REQUIRED: bachelor’s degree in education, science, engineering, or related area; at least five years’ experience managing projects/programs; ability to achieve community and/or revenue goals; excellent organizational, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills; support for MIT’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion principles; and a history of building international relationships with diverse stakeholders and crafting solutions to meet disparate needs. Seek a goal- and outcome-oriented self-starter who welcomes and approaches challenges strategically and can move strategy to operations and detailed execution in a dynamic, fast-paced, highly-collaborative, and sometimes ambiguous environment. PREFERRED: graduate degree in education, science, engineering, or a related area; comprehensive knowledge of topics in K12 education and experience leading international K12 education programs; familiarity with the MIT educational pedagogy and approach and with the MIT landscape; relevant experience (e.g., membership or business development, resource development, writing, and community building); and quantitative and qualitative analysis skills.
