The job

The Commerical Academy team is responsible for ensuring that AVEVA’s positioning in the market is communicated in a highly, differentiated and compellingly manner. By developing high-value training and communicating effective messaging, this team will help to professionally enable AVEVA’s Commercial team and AVEVA’s channel partners to communicate AVEVA solutions reliably in the marketplace.

As a Learning Program Manager with the Commercial Academy, you'll play a pivotal role in building a world-class learning and development function for our Commercial Organization with the key goals of supporting pipeline growth, deal progression, adoption, and the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our global Commercial Organization. You'll partner with stakeholders across sales, marketing, and leadership to identify skill gaps, design engaging learning content, manage program delivery, and measure the impact of our initiatives.

This role will specifically focus on developing and managing the Commercial Leadership Program and must have a strong foundation in commercial leadership program development and management.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Commercial stakeholders to assess the current state, conduct needs assessments, identify skill gaps, and translate strategy into actionable learning programs.

  • Develop program roadmaps and scope documents outlining learning objectives, content strategies, and delivery methods aligned with commercial goals delivering a consistent, high value learning experience for the Commercial Organization for commercial leadership development.

  • Collaborate with SMEs, instructional designers, and vendors to design and develop engaging learning content, including eLearning modules, simulations, role-playing exercises, coaching materials, and job aids.

  • Manage the development and execution of commercial enablement programs, including instructor-led training, blended learning experiences, and ongoing coaching initiatives.

  • Manage program logistics, including scheduling, budgeting, vendor management, and participant registration.

  • Develop and implement program evaluation plans to measure the effectiveness of learning programs on knowledge acquisition, skill development, and commercial outcomes.

  • Analyze learning data and use insights to continuously improve program design and delivery for the commercial organization.

  • Stay current on industry best practices and emerging trends in commercial enablement and sales training

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Extensive and proven experience in commercial enablement program management, sales training, or a related field with specialization on leadership from start to finish.

  • In depth understanding the characteristics and behaviors of high-performing sales teams and strategies for building and developing successful leaders is necessary.

  • Strong understanding and execution experience in sales enablement and known for driving sales pipeline via enablement and support.

  • Experience with conducting insightful and customer focused needs assessments to drive curriculum development, and effective instructional design methodologies that cater to the needs of adult learning.

  • Proven experience in developing, implementing, and managing successful leadership training programs.

  • Strong project management skills with proficiency in managing multiple deadlines and competing priorities.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.

  • Deep understanding of effective strategies to measure success of a program that link to business outcomes

  • Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable recommendations for program improvement.

  • A flexible attitude and an ability to produce excellent work with minimal guidance.
