Robert Half Human Resources (HR) Generalist in Camas, Washington

Description

Charlie Gilmur with Robert Half is seeking an HR Generalist to join our team in Camas, Washington. In this role, you will provide vital support across various HR disciplines, working closely with both employees and leadership. Your responsibilities will span from employee relations and performance management to recruitment, onboarding, and employee development.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the main point of contact for HR-related inquiries from employees

• Build strong relationships with assigned business groups, acting as a partner and advisor across HR disciplines

• Oversee recruitment processes for technical and salaried positions, including maintaining job descriptions and postings, scheduling and conducting interviews, and initiating pre-employment activities

• Assist HR management in making compensation decisions for hires, promotions, and internal job changes

• Provide guidance, support, and recommendations for resolving complex employee relations issues

• Collaborate with HR leadership to identify and coordinate development opportunities for employees

• Respond to employee complaints and concerns, conducting investigations and ensuring compliance with company policy and federal, state, and local statutes

• Contribute to or lead HR projects such as process improvements, employee programs, and engagement initiatives

• Identify areas of opportunity to improve HR processes and procedures

• Maintain open and honest communication to foster a culture based on mutual respect and trust.

Salary Range: $30/hr - $38/hr

Requirements • Proven experience as a HR Generalist or similar role in human resources

• Knowledge of human resources processes and best practices

• Familiarity with Human Capital Management software (HCM)

• Strong ability in using MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

• Experience in designing compensation and benefits packages

• Ability to develop effective hiring processes and recruitment strategies

• Strong skills in organizing and coordinating benefits

• Excellent communication and leadership abilities

• In-depth understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures

• Proficient in managing employee relations and achieving employee satisfaction

• Demonstrable expertise in HR compliance and regulatory concerns

• Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or relevant field.
