Job Title: Skilled Laborer

Job Description

We are looking to hire skilled laborers to disassemble shelves and racking.This role involves general labor tasks such as unloading materials, bolting in holes, and installation/assembly using hand and power tools. One candidate must have strong sit-down forklift experience and certification, while the other two will focus on general labor. All candidates must possess a fall arrest ticket due to work at heights. Starting wage for the opportunity will be $25/hr.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble shelves and racking using hand and power tools

• Unload materials and perform general labor tasks

• Bolt in holes and assist with installation/assembly

• Ensure all work is performed safely and efficiently

Essential Skills

• Experience reading tape measure

• Leveling and making chalk marks

• Bolting in holes

• Disassembly

• General labor experience

• Fall protection ticket

• Mechanical inclination

• Experience with power tools (measuring tape, power drills)

• Sit-down forklift certification

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in installation/construction/maintenance

• Conveyor installation experience

• Proficiency with measuring tools (measuring tape, chalk lines)

• Familiarity with hand tools (wrenches, hammers, levels)

• Experience using power tools (hammer drills, impacts, torque wrenches)

• Ability to use lasers for elevations and alignment

Work Environment

The project involves working at different sites disaasembling or installing racking and sorting systems. Initial weeks will have a 40-hour work week from 7 or 8 AM to 3:30 or 4:30 PM, eventually ramping up to 12-hour days. The standard safety attire includes hard hats, steel-toed shoes, and safety vests.
