Job Title: Sit Down Forklift Operator

Job Description

This role involves operating a sit-down forklift on the production line. The position requires a blend of forklift operation and manual labor to support production activities.

Responsibilities

• Moving pallets from one line to another

• Bringing raw materials to the production line

• Assisting production by manually moving bottles

• Lifting up to 40 lbs

• Operating the forklift 50% of the time and performing manual tasks the other 50%

• Handling shipping and receiving tasks

Essential Skills

• 2+ years of experience operating a sit-down forklift

• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 40 lbs)

• Experience in production or warehouse environments

• Familiarity with high-speed equipment, factory settings, and machine operations

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience changing the battery on a forklift

• Experience working with uneven or fragile materials (e.g., water, glass)

• Production experience in the food or beverage industry

Work Environment

Shifts start with 8-hour rotations on day/afternoon/night, transitioning to a continental shift schedule in late January/early February.
