Quadient is looking for Field Service Technicians to work in the field, traveling to customer locations to provide service, maintenance, and installations. The Field Service Technicians we are looking for have the technical skills to troubleshoot issues and ensure that the equipment is installed and working properly, while also managing customer relationships to boost customer retention and satisfaction.

Your role in our future

  • Provide service and support for Quadient Canada products during customer visits.

  • Handle onsite installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks.

  • Diagnose technical issues and recommend appropriate solutions.

  • Train customers on proper usage of equipment and products.

  • Stay comfortable working with both advanced technologies and hands-on tasks.

  • Manage the stock of replacement parts and equipment.

  • Promote Quadient products and services to customers.

  • Stay up-to-date with technological advancements and regulatory standards through company-sponsored training and independent learning.

  • Produce accurate and detailed service reports in a timely manner.

  • Document all installations and repairs.

  • Adhere to company procedures and protocols.

  • Achieve or surpass key field service performance metrics.

  • Collaborate with the technical team and share insights across the organization.

  • Understand customer needs and offer appropriate recommendations.

  • Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with customers.

Your profile

  • Proficient in speaking and writing English.

  • Proven field service experience.

  • A team player with a passion for assisting customers.

  • Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service technical equipment.

  • Prior experience with copier machines, printers/scanners, ATMs, PCs, appliances, or vending machines is a plus.

  • Excellent verbal communication skills with strong listening abilities.

  • Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain positive customer relationships.

  • Effective time-management skills to handle appointments and stay on schedule.

  • Strong organizational skills and a sense of urgency.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • A valid driver’s license and clean driving record, with the ability to travel within assigned territories.

  • Ability to lift up to 20 kg and dual lift up to 68 kg.
