Job Description

Your Team

As a Sales Associate you are an integral member of the Brookfield Sales Team. Under the leadership of the Community Manager, you will steward customers through the home buying journey, provide knowledge and expertise to help support customer purchase decisions, prepare, and execute documents to facilitate the purchase and subsequent building of the home and act as a communication liaison for the customer to keep them informed throughout the journey. Your commitment to building lasting relationships, adding value, curating information with transparency and authenticity and solving problems make you an invaluable partner on the team.

Your Key Deliverables

  • Support the customer’s home buying journey by creating authentic relationships to identify customer’s needs and align the Brookfield value proposition where most appropriate

  • Serve as a customer resource to help solve problems, educate, and add value in the purchase process

  • Facilitate the purchase and subsequent building of the home through the completion of all required sales documentation and system entry with a strong attention to detail and adherence to process

  • Maintain a strong prospecting and customer database to support sales target requirements

  • Achieve the required sales targets and objectives for each asset/project

  • Create a best-in-class customer journey through the demonstration of competence, fostering of connection, and consistency in process

  • Deliver communication with transparency and positively collaborate with all teams to create a cohesive experience for the customer

  • Consistently demonstrate Brookfield core values in all actions and communication

  • Maintain accountability for the professional presentation of customer facing assets including the sales center, show homes, spec inventory

  • Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of the Housing industry, market trends and competitive offerings as subject matter expert to support the customer

    Must Haves

  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in Business or related area preferred, with minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales or a combination of education and experience will also be considered

  • Previous customer service experience with a proven successful track record.

  • Experience with managing multiple deliverables at the same time; detail oriented and highly organized.

  • Ability to deliver on performance metrics and key milestones.

  • Champions of technology; open to learning and new experiences

  • Experience with CRM and ERP platform

  • Experience with Contract Documentation

  • Experience with Salesforce, Hubspot and NewStar are a plus, but not required

  • Must have accurate and efficient data entry skills
