Aerotek is looking to expand our Mechanical Assembler Technician roster in Calgary AB , we currently have multiple roles available for qualified Assemblers!

located in Calgary, Alberta. This job opportunity will provide full time hours, long term benefits with stability and longevity for the right candidate. There will also be opportunity for growth and pay increases.

Job Title: Mechanical Assembler

Job Description

The Mechanical Assembler will be part of a team responsible for erecting metal building structures, ranging from small metal industrial buildings to skid-mounted electrical rooms and electrical substations. This role involves tasks such as erecting walls, installing roof trusses and doors, and cutting and installing insulation and drywall.

Other duties include:

• Installing flux bars and bus bars into electrical cabinets

• Assembling cabinets, large skid packs, and buildings

• Installing parts and equipment in electrical boxes and components

• Assembling metal buildings according to instructions

Hard Skills

• Minimum 1 year experience assembling metal building structures/boxes, ideally electrical boxes

• Experience in oil and gas companies

• Ability to read a tape measure (both standard and metric)

• Proficient use of hand and power tools

• Comfortable working at heights and in outdoor conditions year-round

• Heavy lifting

Work Environment

Days and Night Shift.

SHIFT: 6:30 am - 3:00 pm Monday - Friday

PAY: $22-$26 an hour depending on level of experience
