Delivery Specialist

The Customer Delivery Specialist (DS) is responsible for proactive assignment and management of Rogers for Business customer orders, ensuring that customer delivery requirements are executed within defined milestones, helping to support sales and drive growth across all lines of business. The DS is accountable for leading the deployment of standard projects. Accountabilities include deployment of wireline solutions, IP technology, SIP, Unified Communications, Managed Wi-Fi, IoT, FWA and wireless onboarding.

What you'll do:

  • Responsible for order fulfillment, coordination and administration for business customer orders, ensuring that delivery procedures are executed with a goal of meeting the defined interval cycle.

  • Receive and validate Clean Order Package (COP) requests via Salesforce for all lines of business including Wireline, Wireless, Data Centre, IOT and Service Migrations

  • Coordinate with project resources, both internal and external to Rogers, to plan, prepare and execute on delivery requirements.

  • Facilitate status meetings and oversee project critical millstones.

  • Process MACD requests for existing Rogers for Business Services

  • Build customer relationships by providing prompt and exceptional service through communication and delivery and embodying the I AM SERVICE behaviours in every interaction.

  • Define schedule and delivery plans to communicate with customers and assess risk factors

  • Coordinate and communicate firm installation date (FOC) with the customer.

  • Be the liaison with field technicians

  • Ensure timeliness of billing activation upon delivery of service, ensuring closure communication to customer is delivered to ensure awareness of service activation and billing.

  • Submission of Commercial & Strategic Orders on behalf of Sales via RDL

  • Account Creation of Wireline & Wireless accounts

  • Uploading of pricing details into V21 Billing System

  • Diligent order tracking for revenue reporting

What you'll have:

  • 2+ years of experience within the Telecommunication industry, Business to Business segment preferred

  • Knowledge of Rogers Business services, products and procedures

  • Knowledge of Ethernet technology and topology, IP Technology, SIP, MPLS, Wi-Fi, UCC

  • Excellent proficiency with Vision 21, ICM, AS400, INSIS, EWP, SGI, Oasis and Salesforce & Optic

  • Strong communication skills (oral and written) and the ability to interface with all levels of the organization, across a variety of cross-functional teams

  • Ability to bring new ideas and approaches that are appropriate to the business, challenging the status quo

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Post Secondary education in a related Technology or Telecommunications field

  • ITIL, PMP certifications an asset

  • Ability to promote a collaborative team culture through active listening, seeking to understand and information sharing

  • Bilingualism (English & French) an asset

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills

This is a hybrid work position and will require you to be in office three days per week. You can choose which days in office work best for you!
