Description We are in the search for a Staff Accountant to join our team in Calabasas, California. This role will entail assisting with the daily functions of our accounting department, maintaining financial reports, records, and general ledgers, and performing general accounting tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing and retaining accounting documents and records.

• Conduct regular maintenance and reconciliation of ledgers.

• Collaborate with the accounting team during annual audits.

• Analyze financial information detailing assets, liabilities, and capital.

• Assist in preparing financial reports for the finance department.

• Ensure all payments are completed on time including accounts payable and bank deposits.

• Maintain compliance with all internal processes.

• Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings, and statements.

• Identify and resolve accounting issues or refer them to supervisors.

• Assist the finance department in preparing financial reports. Requirements • Must have a minimum of three years experience in a Staff Accountant role or similar

• Proficient in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience with Bank Reconciliations is required

• Familiarity with General Ledger management is necessary

• Ability to accurately process and record Journal Entries

• Must be able to handle Month End Close procedures efficiently

• Proficiency in using NetSuite accounting software is desirable

• Experience with Oracle financial software is an advantage

• Must be familiar with QuickBooks for accounting tasks

• Knowledge of SAP financial software system is beneficial

• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is required

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification is a plus.
