Position Overview
The Senior Power Supply Electrical Design Engineer will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and implementation of electric power supply systems for metro construction projects. They will be responsible for ensuring that the power supply infrastructure meets the specific needs of the metro system, complies with safety and regulatory standards, and achieves high levels of reliability and efficiency.
Responsibilities
Designing and developing electrical systems and circuits specifically tailored for power supply in metro construction projects.
Collaborating with other engineering disciplines to integrate power supply components into the overall metro system design.
Analyzing existing electrical systems and proposing and implementing improvements to bolster efficiency and sustainability.
Supervising the installation and testing of electrical power supply systems to ensure adherence to safety standards and project specifications.
Conducting quality assurance tests to validate the functionality of power supply systems and components for the metro system.
Preparing technical documentation, reports, and specifications to guide system installations and maintenance.
Managing the operation and maintenance of power supply systems within the metro construction environment.
Ensuring compliance with national and local safety codes and regulations related to power supply systems.
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferable.
Extensive practical experience, typically 8-10 years, within the power generation, distribution, or transmission sectors.
Strong understanding of electrical power systems, circuitry, risk management, and regulatory standards, especially as they relate to metro construction projects.
Proficiency in electrical engineering software and tools such as ETAP, MATLAB, and similar.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, combined with a meticulous attention to detail.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
