What You'll Do

You will join our Cisco Silicon One team, the epicenter of Cisco’s ASIC design. Our engineers handle every aspect of chip design, from definition and architecture to coding, physical design, and signoff.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting lab post-silicon electrical characterization, including high-speed interface characterization and compliance with specifications.

• Performing silicon electrical validation, covering power, speed, process, packaging, thermal characteristics, and more.

• Utilizing high-speed/RF lab equipment and automation tools.

• Working with the latest silicon technologies and processes to develop large-scale and complex devices at the cutting edge of feasibility.

You will be part of a team driving our groundbreaking next-generation network devices—Cisco Silicon One™. Our team operates in a startup-like atmosphere within a stable and leading corporation.

Our design center is unique, hosting all silicon hardware and software development disciplines under one roof. We are revolutionizing the industry and building a new internet for the 5G era, with a unified, programmable silicon architecture that will be the foundation of all Cisco's future routing products.

Our devices are designed to be adaptable across service providers and web-scale markets, crafted for both fixed and modular platforms. They deliver high speed without compromising programmability, buffering, power efficiency, scale, or feature flexibility. Cisco Silicon One™ is a transformative technology set to serve our customers and end-users for decades to come.

Who You Are

• B.Sc in Electrical Engineering from a leading academic institution, with a GPA above 85.

• New graduate or up to 4 years of experience.

• Hardware-oriented, with experience in lab work (measurements/characterization, lab equipment).

• Experience in script writing for automated tests is a plus.

• Hands-on experience in PCB bring-up and debugging is an advantage.

• Experience in board/package design is a plus.
