Job Summary

Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, the Nursing Assistant provides support to the patient by assisting with basic care for daily living including bathroom assistance , bathing, maintaining hygiene, changing bedding, turning and repositioning, assisting in ambulation, serving and assisting with meals, and obtaining vital signs.

    Essential Duties

  • Participates in fire and other disaster plans as directed.

  • Independently performs and documents duties as assigned under the direction of the Registered Nurse

  • Reports observations of a patient to a Registered Nurse.
