    What You'll Do:

    Working with minimal supervision this individual will be responsible for the development and introduction of new products into the manufacturing processes at MPP. Will work directly with customers and vendors, providing both technical and project leadership to internal and external resources. Responsible for managing all aspects of assigned manufacturing processes and product, NPI programs, and projects.

  • Read, interpret, prepare, and/or revise blueprints; schematics; drawings; CAD models; manufacturing, inspection, and other technical specifications and apply them within manufacturing and quality processes.

  • Assess customer requirements, prepares cost estimating and submit quotations for new product. Research tooling design, equipment capabilities, and manufacturing processes to determine a best fit solution for new product development.

  • Responsible for process set-up for new product as well as cost and losses reductions on assigned existing product and processes.

  • Analyze problems with processes and product, make decisions on proper actions to be taken for correction. Execute solutions effectively.

  • May prepare and present First Article Inspection reports and any other necessary product or process review and reporting.

  • Interact with customers and suppliers on technical and program matters.

  • Make recommendations for design for manufacturability, cost, or process improvements or expanded capabilities including substantiating strategy on new or existing products.

  • Provide process and equipment design, control, analysis, and continued improvement for responsible processes and product in accordance with Quality Management System procedures and customer specifications.

  • Manage personal timetables and project status for various and concurrent projects to assure milestones and completion dates are achieved.

  • Assists in planning and coordination within the associated manufacturing area.

  • Support process reviews, revisions, and training on necessary changes within areas of responsibility.

    What We Look For:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering from an accredited university or equivalent technical training and relevant experience.

  • CAD experience or the capability to analyze geometry through the use of CAD programs.

  • Ability to read, interpret, and apply engineering drawings, specifications, and industry standards.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Access, Power Point, etc.).

  • Ability to read/write/speak English


  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

  • Experience with bellows manufacturing

  • Experience with aerospace quality systems

  • Makes decisions based on experience and available data

  • Highly self-motivated with extreme attention to detail

  • Ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams

  • Work Environment:

  • Shared office environment for administrative work.

  • Frequent access to the manufacturing environment is required to perform duties adequately.

  • May be exposed to noise, dust, fumes, airborne particles, smoke (Not over OSHA Permissible Exposure Levels).
