Intermountain Health Environmental Services Tech in Butte, Montana

Job Description:

This position is responsible for performing general housekeeping tasks to maintain the facility and associated buildings in a sanitary, safe, and attractive condition and to meet hospital and Joint Commission standards.

Environmental Services Tech II

Schedule : Monday - Friday

Hours: 9:00am - 5:30pm(Weekends call rotation about every 5th week) Designated holidays*

As an Environmental Services Aide II / Housekeeper in the OR, you need to know how to:

Maintain all floor surfaces.

Strip, wax and polish floors.

Complete terminal cleanings of OR suites.

Clean walls and floors according to hospital guidelines.

Clean ventilation system.

Dispose of all infectious and non-infectious waste.

Be responsible for all OR furniture and set-up.

Position beds in accordance with surgical procedure as well as all other surgical aids.

Set up surgical tables and equipment towers.

Maintain all wall and ceiling surfaces, including lights.

Assist in supply chain management.

Maintain appropriate inventory levels as benchmarked by Surgical Director

Minimum Requirements:

  • Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers attained within 6 months of hire

Physical Requirements:

Carrying, Climbing, Crawling, Hearing/Listening, Lifting, Manual Dexterity, Pulling/Pushing, Seeing, Speaking, Squatting/Kneeling, Standing, Walking

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

$17.29 - $26.81
