Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Radio Frequency Engineer to join our team! The RF Engineer will apply their skill to research, develop, engineer, prototype, test and accomplish systems integration for a wide variety of Training Range projects including current and emerging technology systems. They enhance and exploit intelligence information and capabilities from national and theater systems to support Army tactical commanders through PORs, QRCs, prototypes, testbeds, and other identified efforts.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Design and evaluation of up/down converters, and amplifiers, MMICs, MCMs, and TRMs

  • Design, plan, establish, and optimize signal networks

  • Develop signal network infrastructures and make recommendations on systems enhancements for optimization

  • Provide technical assessment of requirements and definition from conception to launch

  • Design and validate signal link performance, quality, and reliability

  • Use measuring and diagnostic tools to test and adjust equipment

  • Create manuals and support documentation

  • Develop software for signal technology

  • Optimize existing network by adjusting signal parameters, adding/deleting of signals, and recommending possible solutions to hardware problems

  • Support customers in the development, acquisition, and sustainment activities of complex signal systems used in Communications, Radar, and Electronic Warfare

  • Conduct planning, analysis/traceability of user requirements, architectures traceability, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations.

  • Develops solutions designs based on analysis of requirements and new technology.

  • Supports the analyses and allocation of requirements to systems architecture components and executing programs.

  • Performs systems integration activities.

  • Assists the Government in strategic technical planning, project management, performance engineering, risk management and interface design.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, scientific, technical discipline, or comparable work experience plus 5+ years experience

  • Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility

  • Experience working in complex design of RF solutions and systems

  • Experience in novel communications methods and theory

  • Experience working within an Agile/Scrum environment

  • Experience designing end-to-end RF large or complex system of systems

  • Experience analyzing performance, availability, stability, and efficiency of systems

  • Experience validating and verifying functionality against customer specified requirements

  • Experience with Army National Guard and Active Army training

  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical team members, managers, and customers

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • Experience with C-UAS and/or Digital Signal Processing

  • Experience with Software Defined Radios

  • Experience with RVTM, FAT, Acceptance Testing, and other formal testing procedures and documentation

  • Active TS/SCI Clearance or higher
