Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Exercise Planner Lead to join our team! In this role you will get to support exercise project teams for exercise design, planning, conduct, and post-exercise reporting in accordance with Department of Defense (DOD) guidance, Intelligence Community (IC) requirements, and federal directives.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Perform enterprise-level planning, training and exercise activities that support national-level requirements and verify alignment of other government programs and mission areas

  • Development of after-action reports, improvement plans and corrective action plans following tabletop exercises, drills, full-scale exercises, and real-world events

  • Facilitate creation and delivery of presentation products that concisely review and out brief senior government leaders’ performance during tabletop exercises, drills, or full-scale exercises

  • Develop educational training overviews and briefings for TTE subject and deliver them to agency personnel in line with adult learning best practices

  • Develop new and update existing standard operating procedures and/or crisis action plans

  • Monitor contingency plan exercises, assess plan effectiveness, and recommend plan improvements to emergency response

  • Ability to provide strategic direction leading activities in support of team and enterprise objectives

  • Conduct trend analyses from exercise data, capturing innovative practices and lessons learned, and track implementation activities to be shared with a variety of agencies and organizations

  • Communicate technically complex topics for a variety of audiences, including senior government leaders

  • Identify training or exercise topics based on an assessment of individual feedback, skill complexities and event after action reports that revel strengths or shortcomings in performance of critical tasks

  • Develop Exercise Planning Schedules; Concepts and Objectives; Planning Meeting agendas; Exercise Scenario Reports; Training Packages; Master Event Scenario Lists; Exercise conduct documentation, Evaluations, Control and Simulation Plans; Exercise Briefings; Exercise After Action Report/Implementation Plan in line with HSEEP methodology

  • Provide technical subject matter support for crisis communications fixed and mobile devices relating to training, testing, and user troubleshooting requests

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience within related field.

  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in cyber range or computer test bed environments.

  • Minimum five (5) years of supervising experience. Minimum two (2) years of experience conducting Army and Joint Cyber Training. Experience collaborating with the leadership team and subject matter experts to identify training needs and create effective training objectives.

  • Working knowledge of OT/IT technologies, cellular systems, networking, and IT management and implementation for training scenarios.

  • Meet DoD 8570.01-M IAT II requirements.

  • Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility
