Position Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class A CDL Local Driver to join our team. This position offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, with hours from 7 AM to 4 PM. You will be home nightly and enjoy a balance between driving and hands-on delivery tasks. The role involves local driving as well as monthly routes to Jacksonville and Miami.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle.

  • Perform local deliveries and pickups as scheduled.

  • Drive to Jacksonville and Miami once a month for deliveries.

  • Handle and secure loads according to company standards.

  • Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.

  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.

  • Maintain accurate logs of working hours and vehicle conditions.

  • Assist with loading and unloading as needed.

  • Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Class A CDL with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).

  • Minimum two years of professional driving experience.

  • Proficiency in driving both manual transmission trucks and hybrid vehicles.

  • Ability to lift and handle loads as part of delivery tasks.

  • Understanding of DOT regulations and safety standards.

  • Excellent time management skills and punctuality.

  • Communication skills and customer service orientation.

  • Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
